WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Lecturer, Biotechnology Program, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, BRAC University, Dhaka

September 2022 – Present

I currently serve as a lecturer, teaching and mentoring students and contributing to the development of the biotechnology program. My role also includes research activities and collaboration with academic colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.

2. COVID-19 Consultant, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Bangladesh

August 2020 – September 2022

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as a COVID-19 consultant at Rangamati General Hospital for the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Bangladesh, and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). My responsibilities involved overseeing diagnostic operations, ensuring testing quality, and contributing to the national response to the pandemic.

3. Teaching Assistant, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, BRAC University, Dhaka

August 2019 – April 2020

As a teaching assistant, I supported faculty conducting practical classes, preparing course materials, and guiding students through their practical and coursework. I was also involved in research-related activities within the department.

TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS

1. Training on Quality Assurance and RT-PCR Techniques

September 7–9, 2020

Conducted by the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine, supported by DGHS, World Bank, and UNFPA. This training focused on advanced techniques in quality assurance and RT-PCR diagnostics.

2. Industrial Visit and Training at the National Forensic DNA Profiling Laboratory (NFDPL)

February 5–6, 2019

Completed hands-on training and observational learning at NFDPL, Dhaka, focusing on forensic DNA profiling and laboratory operations.

3. Internship Program at Sanofi Bangladesh

August 20–31, 2017

Participated in a twelve-day internship to gain practical insights into the pharmaceutical industry, exploring various aspects of manufacturing, quality control, and research.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Oversaw the planning and execution of chess tournaments and events, coordinating logistics and enhancing the club’s visibility on campus.
